Engineered to
Outperform
AbrecoPlate® is a laminate of extremely abrasion resistant, high alloy, high carbide, chromium molybdenum white iron 700+ BHN(64 Rc) metallurgically bonded to a mild steel backing, often generically referred to as Domite®. The backing not only provides weldability but most importantly, it provides impact resistance. AbrecoPlate is the best laminated wear plate on the market today because of quality in material and manufacturing processes. Its performance is 10 times greater than AR400 steel at less than half the operating cost.
Abreco’s onsite services team of application specialists fully capable to provide site evaluations, comprehensive reviews, wear analyses and recommendations. Ensuring every installation is properly supervised with technical expertise, the A-Team has the ability to oversee any Abreco® installation. The A-Team is ready to assist with reliability analyses as well as identifying and recommending continuous improvement projects.

Abreco® offers a wide range of standard inventoried products in various sizes to fit most applications. However, as a manufacturer, we can produce custom castings at our foundry for your specific requirements. Abreco® ensures the highest quality in all its’ Abreco® products, having full control of the manufacturing process, from the foundry to fabrication and delivery. Our in-house engineering team works collectively with clients to ensure the best product is designed and manufactured for the application. Using 3D modelling software, our engineering team is able to work with end users, engineering companies and OEM manufacturers alike to ensure full compliance with required specifications.
Abreco Wear System®
The Abreco® Wear System is an engineered wear solution and was developed using material knowledge and application experience to create the most comprehensive fixed plant protection package in the industry.
Starting with a Wear Point Survey and/or information exchange, we will evaluate and document your equipment and application in its current state. This phase tells us where the issues are and what we can do to solve them in the most efficient and cost-effective way possible for you.
Using the information gathered in the Survey stage, we will review based on your priorities and goals. When possible, we use customer provided KPIs as the basis for decision making in the proposed solution. We are always using your objectives and needs as the focus of our processes.
Using our hands-on experience, our design team will create a customized solution for your needs. By using proven Abreco® components, we can adjust details and configuration for each end user while providing a quick turnaround and ensuring a product with maximum service life.
Once the system is installed and we evaluate the performance, we can then optimize the design to achieve higher expectations for you. Optimizing the system for maximum efficiency translates into millions of dollars of productivity with minimum intervention and down-time.
We provide you with a suggested ongoing monitoring schedule and a forecasted life. Given the consistent life of the material, we create an estimated re-purchase point. At this point, liner tracking is achieved, high wearing areas are identified and the system is evaluated for optimization.
The Abreco® installation can be overseen or managed by our own internal application specialists. We also work with local contractors to support the proper installation of the product. This phase is effectively the hand-off from manufactured concept to installation in the field.
solution, we can provide the components and expertise to solve any abrasive wear issue.
